New Years Resolutions (Hitting the Gym)

OK, so one of the most popular New Years Resolutions is getting in shape and losing weight. My New Years Resolutions is to get the best body I ever had in 90 days or else I will shave my head and make a video of me singing and dancing to a Britney Spears song. Then put in on Facebook and Youtube.

New Years Resolutions are All Over the Gym

I went to the gym at 8am today like I usually do ready to hit my New Years Resolutions hard. When I walked in the place was packed. Everyone is going to the gym for their New Years Resolutions. Good news is only 70% will still be there after 2 weeks and only 40% will be still hitting their New Years Resolutions after 1 month. People give up so easy because its hard and if they want to see results immediately.

You Can Tell Which Ones are There For Their New Years Resolutions

As soon as you walk in you can tell who is there for their New Years Resolutions. They show up in their gym clothes from the 80’s. And they are slinging weight around like they are trying to throw their back out. Lifting way to much weight, Its pretty funny actually. If I was a chiropractor I would be like New Years Resolutions time….. JACKPOT!! I would be in the gym handing out my business card to the people doing their New Years Resolutions like it was candy. You got the guy in the corner holding a 25lb plate slinging it around from front to back twisting his back like mad. I would stand by him until he throws his back out. Then go over to the New Years Resolutions at the dumbbells. Those curls they are doing are really activating their back muscles.

Stats for New Years Resolutions

I read an article that said out of all the New Years Resolutions that are fitness related, after 2 weeks 29% would quit. And by the end of the first month 45% would quit. And after 6 months over 60% of the New Years Resolutions would quit.

Out of the 45% of people the quit their New Years Resolutions in the first month, most quit because they hurt themselves, or don’t see results right away, lol…
I think that if most of the people doing fitness New Years Resolutions would join some type of boot camp they would have better results. And less of a chance of getting hurt. Therefore continuing their New Years Resolutions and achieving their goals.

If your one of the New Years Resolutions that I’m talking about don’t be upset. Just be careful and don’t give up. If theirs a boot camp close to you sign up for that. It will be cheaper than hiring a personal trainer and cost about the same price as a gym membership. Plus they are taught by a personal trainer, and the odds of you getting the body you want is a lot higher.

Good Luck Everyone With Your New Years Resolutions. Have a Great 2012!!!!
